SHADOW CAT FITNESS offers group fitness classes at two locations: Small Group Sessions at The Do Better Studio (capped at 8 people), and Functional Movement Classes at The Underground Movement Studio.

Every SHADOW CAT FITNESS group fitness workout is designed to build resilience, body awareness, and sustainable strength through everyday movement pattern for the long term—not just for the “summer body,” but for the body that carries you through your entire life.

Rather than focusing on speed, intensity, or pushing through discomfort, we practice learning how to listen to the body’s feedback and adapt accordingly. Participants are encouraged to explore what feels appropriately challenging for them that day: when to add weight, slow things down, modify movements, or rest. Over time, this helps develop greater confidence, movement literacy, and the ability to safely progress while reducing risk of injury both inside and outside the gym.

Every SHADOW CAT group fitness workout is energizing, supportive, and intentionally imperfect. We lean into the chaos, stay curious, laugh often, and practice humility alongside strength. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s building a stronger relationship with your body and learning to become your own best teacher.

All levels are welcome. Modifications and rest breaks are always encouraged. Please bring a water bottle and yoga mat (if you need to borrow a yoga mat, we have some available!)

SMALL GROUP - STRENGTH
starting june 2 - fridays at 6:00 am, Sundays at 9:00 am

These SHADOW CAT Small Group Strength sessions deliver a full body strength conditioning and core workout. We emphasize moving slowly and mindfully in ways that have practical applications to our day-to-day lives, gradually building strength. We’ll use a variety of props including weights, kettlebells, resistance bands, Pilates balls, and more, depending on the day. All levels are welcome! Sessions are limited to 8 people.

small group - MOBILITY
starting june 2 - Sundays at 8:00 am

These SHADOW CAT Small Group Mobility sessions focus on increasing range in the joints such as the shoulder, hip, ankles, and spine, and strengthening smaller muscles throughout the body through controlled and intentional movement. You don’t have to be “flexible”! Everyone can benefit from this practice. Sessions are limited to 8 people.

SHADOW CAT Functional Movement group fitness classes deliver a full body strength conditioning and core workout. We emphasize moving slowly and mindfully in ways that have practical applications to our day-to-day lives, gradually building strength. All levels are welcome. Functional Movement classes at The Underground Movement Studio are capped to 18 people.

The Underground Movement Studio is a collective of practitioners who work to create a safe and inclusive environment where people can move, teach, create, build, heal, and grow together. Classes are offered on a sliding scale basis.
